Your property is now available for industry professionals to browse and shortlist for their creative projects, and someone has chosen your space for their next film production.

How the Process Works

Once an enquiry for your film location has been submitted, you will receive the following:

1. Notification of interest, confirming your availability and willingness to proceed.

2. Full production details, including:

   • The nature of the project (film, TV, advertising, photoshoot etc.)

   • Shoot dates and times

   • Crew size and cast numbers

   • Proposed activities at your location

   • The fee offered to you

3. Coordinated support from SL with both you and the production team to finalise:

   • A site visit (Recce)

   • Fee negotiations and agreements

   • Specific terms and requirements

   • Payments and invoicing

   • Insurance and any necessary risk assessment provided by the production

   • An official booking agreement

4. Filming begins! Once everything is set, your property takes centre stage.

Key Things to Keep in Mind

• Understand the Booking Structure
  Before any agreement is signed, we provide a full breakdown of the shoot requirements, which may include:

  • Preparation Days: Crew sets up the space (usually a lower fee than filming days)

  • Filming Days: Principal production occurs (full rate applies)

  • Wrap/Strike Days: The team clears out equipment and sets (usually a lower fee than filming days)

• Dedicated Support
  Our team is available to assist with any issues that may arise during the process.

• Customised Arrangements
  If your property has specific conditions (such as heritage restrictions or prohibitions on certain equipment), we can include these in the contract. Make sure to keep us in the loop of any changing requirements or rules at your location.

  Productions using Silverstein Locations must comply with strict professional guidelines, ensuring your property is treated with respect and care.
