  1. Arthur’s Seat
If you are familiar with the series, you will know that Edinburgh’s iconic Arthur’s Seat plays a vital role in the narrative, serving as the backdrop for the beginning and end of the story. In the first episode, Emma leads Dexter up the hill, while in the final episode, it is his daughter Jasmine who eagerly races ahead.

  2. Primrose Hill
During the summer months, the bustling city has a relaxed, dreamy atmosphere, which is captured perfectly in the scene filmed at Primrose Hill. Dex and Em drink wine while reclining on the grass, surrounded by fellow Londoners enjoying the warm evening, as the city’s iconic skyline looms in the distance.

  3. Savoy Hotel
The iconic hotel The Savoy, a London institution, was chosen as a glamorous setting for some secretive behavior from Dexter’s wife Sylvie. With the city lights shimmering beyond the window, Sylvie, adorned in a plush-looking towel robe, appears to be in a state of conflict. Although one may not condone her actions, they certainly appreciate her fine taste in accommodations.

  4. Hatfield House
In search of the picture-perfect setting for a wedding in episode 10, the producers went with the magnificent grade I listed Hatfield House, located in Hertfordshire. Constructed in 1611 by Robert Cecil, 1st Earl of Salisbury and Chief Minister to King James I, the sprawling complex is a testament to the epitome of English country house glamour. Its imposing architecture comprises a grand, oak-paneled “marble hall” and a sprawling garden maze, with the property making frequent appearances on-screen, including as the interior for the Bridgertons’ London residence in the popular Netflix series.

  5. Benington Lordship
The picturesque country house, Benington Lordship, located in Hertfordshire, makes a stunning appearance in the series as the home of Sylvie’s parents, complete with charming gables, multi-paned windows and elaborately trimmed cornices, reflecting its roots dating back to the 18th century. Production Designer for the program, Patrick Rolfe, praises its suitability for the location requirements, noting that it was decorated to evoke a sense of a wealthy, aristocratic family that went back several generations.

  6. Charlton Lido
As summer approaches, another key location, Charlton Lido, stands out as a hidden gem in the heart of London. Emma, one of the show’s key characters, frequents the idyllic open-air pool, featured in the series finale. The scenic spot is a welcome reminder of the capital’s impressive array of public swimming pools, with its crystal-clear water, lush greenery and picture-perfect setting providing a glimpse of summer in a bustling metropolis.

The series supervising location manager was Jamie Parsons, who was assisted by Alfie Rowland, Laura Cheese and Jessica Hewitt.
